After Artist Vs Poet signed to Fearless Records in 2008 we went on one of our first tours called the GUYS GUYS GUYS tour with Sing It Loud, The Friday Night Boys, The Morning Light, and The Summer Set

Made some of my best friends and best memories. We were all fairly new bands with fairly new dreams and even though we averaged twenty kids a night we were all absolutely blown away that we could travel from city to city across the USA and someone would show up to listen.

As some of you know only two of the bands from that tour still exist. The Summer Set and us (Artist Vs Poet) and god knows we have been through hell and back and almost broke up a few times.

We are currently working on our next record and I can’t tell you how nervous I am about it after everything. I also couldn’t tell you how much faith I have in all the amazing supporters AVP has made because it is the only thing that keeps this band alive….

My point to this entire story is to support the bands you love the best way you can because even though we get into shows for free and we sometimes meet big celebrities most of us don’t share the same bank account and never will and that is okay…..

I told my best friend Jeff Olson when I was 14 that if I could just have enough money to eat twice a day I would be a performer till I died….

Support my good friends in The Summer Set. They just came out with a new album called Everything’s Fine. If you like pop music I can tell you honestly this is my favorite album from them and it is full of real honest pop music. I see all of them in every song.
